Timber Frame Brackets (also known as knee braces) are an important detail in timber framing that can function both cosmetically and structurally. Brackets also direct vertical loads from beams to posts – clear spans between posts can be increased. At Pacific Timberworks we handcraft mortise & tenon onto posts, beams and brackets and peg them into place.
